WILLY ZUID offers accommodation-related services online through our own websites, but also through other online platforms such as tour operator websites and social media. This privacy statement applies to all of our platforms.

What Personal Data Does WILLY ZUID Collect?

Without certain information, we cannot help you book accommodation. So when you use our services, we ask you to provide some details. These are generally basic things like your name, contact information, and date of birth.

We also collect data from your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access our services, such as your IP address, the browser you’re using, and your language settings. In some cases, we may receive information about you from others, or collect it automatically.

1.1 Personal Data You Provide to Us

WILLY ZUID collects and uses information you provide to us. When you make a reservation, you’ll be asked to provide your name, email address, home address, phone number, payment details, date of birth, and any special requests.

When you contact our customer service team, we also collect information from you. Guests may also be invited to leave a review to help future guests find what they are looking for. We will collect the information you include in your review.

In other situations, you might provide us with more information. For example, when browsing on your mobile device, you might choose to give WILLY ZUID access to your location or your contacts, so we can offer you the best possible service and experience.

1.2 Personal Data We Receive from Other Sources

We don’t just receive information directly from you—we may also receive data from our partners. Any data we receive from them may be combined with information you’ve already given us.

For example, WILLY ZUID’s booking services are integrated into the platforms of business partners you can find online. When you use those, you provide your reservation data to our partner, who then passes it along to us.

We also work with third-party service providers to help facilitate payments between bookers and property owners. These providers share payment data with us so we can manage and process your reservation and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Another example: we use phone communication tools in our platforms so you can contact the accommodation you’ve booked. In doing so, we receive metadata about the calls (such as your location, your identity, and the date and duration of the call).

Property owners may also share information about you with WILLY ZUID—for example, if you have questions about your upcoming reservation or if there is a dispute.

Why Does WILLY ZUID Collect and Use Your Personal Data?

The main reason we ask for your personal data is to help you manage your online reservations and ensure you receive the best possible service. Your data may be used for the following:

Reservations: First and foremost, we use your personal data to complete and manage your online reservation.

Customer Service: By sharing your reservation details with us, we can contact you when needed, help you find the right accommodation, and respond to any questions about your booking.

Communication: We may contact you for other reasons—at your request, to remind you of an incomplete booking, to invite you to write a review, to fill out a survey, or even to send safety-related messages.

Safe Environment: To create a trustworthy environment for both guests and property owners, we use personal data to assess risks and detect/prevent fraud or other harmful activities.

Improving Our Services: We use your data for analytical purposes, to improve the experience for all users. This helps us optimize our platform and better tailor it to your needs.

Reviews: After your stay, you may be invited to submit a review. This involves collecting data about your accommodation and experience. By submitting a review, you agree that it may be shown on the accommodation page on our website, in our apps, on social media, and on our partners’ platforms.

This helps other travelers understand the quality of the stay, the destination, or other insights you choose to share.

If you mark a guest review as helpful or not, we combine this with other feedback to sort and rank reviews—helping future travelers find the right destination and accommodation.

Legal Purposes: In rare cases, your data may be used to comply with legal obligations or official requests from law enforcement authorities.
